Jens Mügge and Werner Galda have been working together as a sound artist duo since 2024.
They share a passion for the world of overtones, subtle vibrations, and the transformative power of sound and silence. Using their voices, overtone singing, natural instruments, and intuitive interplay, they create multi-layered soundscapes that open up space for inner experience and deep relaxation.
The audience will hear overtone singing in duet in harmony with various overtone musical instruments. A tanpura, a monochord, a didgeridoo, and jaw harps from Yakutia, Estonia, and Switzerland will be featured. Guitars will also be played uniquely to accompany the overtone singing instrumentally.
The absence of electronic sound sources underscores the natural, organic quality of their work. Everything that sounds happens live and immediately audible, tangible, alive.
